Description
Study enrollment and participant flow through the randomized double-blind trial comparing xylo-oligosaccharides and fructo-oligosaccharides for functional constipation are outlined. The trial design evaluates prebiotic supplementation effects on gut microbiota composition and constipation symptoms.
